IMPORTANT NOTES - READ BEFORE PURCHASING
*The hook-receptive loop fabric is designed for ventilation and has a lighter hook/loop adhesion than traditional military-specification Velcro®. It is strong enough to secure the ICEVENTS Inner Belt® to your outer belt for most applications, but for hard duty use or personal preference for maximum adhesion closer to a traditional Velcro® inner belt, we recommend using keepers (snap style or OneWrap® available here). Keepers will provide absolute security while preserving ventilation and load distribution. For these same reasons, it is important to note that ICEVENTS® Inner Belt is a ‘durable consumable’ (think magazines) product and while the honeycomb matrix will likely for decades of hard use, the hook-receptive loop will eventually wear down over time.

Accurately determining your belt size can be challenging, especially when dealing with vanity sizing practices that many big brands use. Instead, we use True Sizing for maximum accuracy, precision, and consistency. Fortunately, with a few simple steps, you can find your proper belt size and ensure a comfortable and capable fit.

The ICEVENTS® Inner Belt is available in sizes 32, 34, and 36. This belt comes with added adjustment, which means that the size 36 belt will measure between 34 and 38 inches in length, making it a versatile fit for many waist sizes, clothing types and weather conditions.
To get an accurate belt size:
You will need:
- A length of string or 550 cord sufficient to wrap around your waist.
- A measuring device (tape measure or yardstick).
Instructions:
1. Wrap the string around your waist, starting from one end.
2. Ensure the string overlaps without slack—taut but not overly tight.
3. Measure the length from the string's end to the overlap point with your measuring device to find your true waist size.
4. Use this measurement to select the appropriate ICEVENTS® Inner Belt size. Each size (32, 34, 36) aligns with the middle loop of the ICEVENTS® Inner Belt.

Will this work with my current gun belt?
Blue Force Gear, AWS, Lead Devil, Ferro Concepts, whatever your range/duty/gun belt of choice is, as long as it is hook fabric lined, it will work with ICEVENTS® Inner Belt.
Will the ICEVENTS® Inner Belt work with a contoured outer belt?
Yes. We worked closely with our friends at Blue Force Gear to match the curvature of the ICEVENTS® Inner Belt to the Gen 1 CHLK Belt and all-new GRID Belt.
Will the ICEVENTS® Inner Belt work with a straight outer belt?
Yes. The ICEVENTS® Inner Belt works with both curved and straight outer belts. In fact, during our testing, all beta testers found this curved inner belt shape more comfortable than a traditional straight inner belt.
How much adjustability do the G-Hook loops give?
The stated size of the ICEVENTS® Inner Belt (32, 34, 36) is from the middle G-Hook loop. The sizing adjustability range is two sizes up and two sizes down from the list size.
How does the closure mechanism work?
Working closely with our friends at Blue Force Gear, we have made the closure mechanism identical to the one found on the stock inner belt that comes with the Gen 1 CHLK and GRID for seamless integration and interoperability. This also results in up to four inches of additional adjustability per size.
Is this a true inner belt or more of a battle belt pad?
The ICEVENTS® Inner Belt was designed to be the future of inner belts. A solution to hot spots and discomfort while wearing a gun belt for long hours on duty or otherwise. To this end, the ICEVENTS® Inner Belt isn't simply a pad as seen on older battle belts, but an evolution past the long unconsidered and uncomfortable stiff nylon belt.
What kind of material is the ICEVENTS® Inner Belt made of?
Our proven ICEVENTS® padding, now as a monolithic belt. ICEVENTS® ultralight ventilated padding features proprietary Stimulate thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). This impact-absorbing honeycomb technology promotes airflow under kit while dispersing load and is trusted by tens of thousands of U.S. and Allied military, law enforcement, security contractors, and prepared citizens. The exterior is covered with OneWrap overlay for adhesion with hook-lined outer belts.
Will this be good for LEO duty style belts that use belt keepers?
Yes. You can run the ICEVENTS® Inner Belt with keepers behind with no issue. The loop on the belt is naturally grippy however, so may not need them if your hook isn't worn out. See image below of the ICEVENTS® Inner Belt fitted through Blauer pants with keepers on.
Can the ICEVENTS® INNER BELT be used for CCW?
Theoretically, yes. However, the ICEVENTS® Inner Belt was designed to bear weight and distribute the load of a duty belt (OWB) style set up. If adjusted tightly, it could function as a standalone belt but this use case is untested and not what the ICEVENTS® Inner Belt was designed for.
Will this be coming in a Tan/Coyote color?
ICEVENTS® Inner Belt will only come in black for the foreseeable future. The outer belt will cover the entirety of the inner belt when worn.
We use a custom hook-receptive loop fabric because of the breathability requirements of the ICEVENTS® line. This requires significant scale and is extremely expensive to do here in the US. As a result, we will only produce black unless we get a major enterprise or government contract to produce another color. If uniform regulations are a concern, take solace in the fact that our first run has been entirely unit orders.
Can the ICEVENTS® Inner Belt be worn over outer layers?
Yes. The ICEVENTS® Inner Belt can be worn over clothing in addition to inside of belt loops. ICEVENTS® grip onto clothing more efficiently than nylon while also providing stand-off ventilation and padding.
Will there be a hook version for loop lined belts?
There are no current plans for a hook-lined version because there are so few loop-lined belts on the market compared to hook-lined belts.
Could you custom make ICEVENTS® Inner Belt to fit my uniform/other requirements?

Does the ICEVENTS® INNER BELT have any stretch to it? I find belts that do more comfortable.
We agree! Yes, ICEVENTS® do have some stretch to them. We have posted a video from our chief beta tester for this project here or under the videos section on this page, which provides even more detail about topics like this. I just bought a set of ICEVENTS® for my belt, but I like how the ICEVENTS® Inner Belt looks, what should I do?
The beauty of ICEVENTS® is their versatility! If you pick up the ICEVENTS® Inner Belt, your ICEVENTS® can be repurposed to reduce hot spots and increase comfort and performance elsewhere on your gear! Check out our article 'How do I wear ICEVENTS®?'.
Belt Loop Compatibility
Regardless of who makes your issued or personally purchased duty or range pants, ICEVENTS® Inner Belt has you covered. The belt is quite malleable compared to traditional stiff nylon inner belts and will comfortably fit through most belt loops with little effort. The near universal fit extends to popular denim and skate wear brands allowing you to get the most out of your gun belt, regardless of what you are wearing. It is important to remember that ICEVENTS® Inner Belt intentionally goes "edge to edge" inside of the belt loops for maximum adhesion and ventilation surface area.

Great concept and more comfortable than any other inner belt I've ever worn. HOWEVER, at this price point, I can't recommend this belt until improvements are introduced. First off, the loop material is horrible! you can't be serious QoreP. Even the best belts on the market with quality hook velcro material won't work well with this.
Not sure what QoreP was thinking but, I've owned much less expensive inner belts un which I'd literally have to rip off my gun belt to remove the hook & loop attachment. This constantly slides off, especially if you sit and then get up off from a chair, you'll find yourself with only your hips having the attachment as the belt crack of your back has slid down. Secondly, why not offer a smaller width belt to accommodate 1.5 or 2 inches??? Lastly, wHy not also offer a size 38 or size 40 belt to have on hand for days in whichh U need to wear layers. And no, I don't want to buy your overpriced junky belt extender. I'd like to have one seemeless piece that works to don off and on in a hurry if need be. Also, the hook closure needs to be rethought. I can almost assure you that in time thst piece of cloth will wear out in under a year's time. if U fix these things and offer different sizes, you'd get a much better functioning product. as it is, you'd have to use a few belt keepers to keep the hook from dragging off this insufficient loop lining. Def a big fail and should have been addressed before mass production. I do like the contour and padding, it's a promising and innovative inner belt if QoreP can make the commitment to make this a better belt.

From the handful of range sessions that have lasted four hours plus, I honestly forgot I was wearing my range belt. Typical belts, you're reminded in a couple of hours that you've got kit on and get that annoying feeling of a belt riding into your skin during and after. Although probably not recommended, I've ran the belt directly over a t-shirt and pants and there was no movement when moving/shooting and drawing from holster. No feeling of sweat. This belt motivates me to dry fire, I can be in sweats and throw the belt on over top of my clothes and get in a good session.

I live in the gulf area of the south eastern USA. and it's hot and humid as all get out down here. I run full kit in deep woods with little movement of air cause of the dense forests here. This belt over the other inner belts I have tried kept my waist line from being as soaked and kept the abrasion of a heavy belt off my hips. The cushioning is just right and the standoff it gives you with the mesh structure is amazing for breathability. I first came onto Qore performance for their ice plates technology, it single handedly changed the game for running Plate carriers in extreme heat and humidity, since then I added their aero pads. but this belt has made wearing a loaded down duty belt so much easier. If you're tired of other inner belts digging into your hips or not giving you any airflow around your waist line, snag one of these. You can't go wrong. It's holding up fine and you dont see the black under the multicam (or whatever pattern you choose to wear).

This is by far the best inner belt I have worn. I have tried several over the years. I am a full-time trainer at a Sheriff’s Office. I spend roughly 120 days out of the year on the range in kit. I use this inner belt in conjunction with a KORE battle belt, and it makes wearing a belt with a lot of weight very comfortable. If you are hesitant about the price of the belt, I assure you it is worth every penny. If and when this inner belt wears out, I will buy another. I like it that much. Invest in yourself, and get one.

I was skeptical at first but this meshes well with my safe life duty belt! Way better support on the hips also.

Almost perfect. I love everything about this belt, except for it being 2.27” thick and the price. I would have preferred a 2” belt as the 2.27” thickness will occasionally cause a hot spot due to the bottom seam of the belt loop being stretched/ pushed into my bony waist (5.11 apex and crye g3). This is easily fixed on the fly with minor repositioning. It’s also slightly more difficult to weave through belt loops daily, but I’m really nitpicking here.
Despite this minor complaint, this is the best inner belt I’ve used yet, and will continue wearing daily. I would buy a 2” version in a heart beat, but I’m a single cop working plenty of overtime. $150 is a little steep for an inner belt, and am not able to convince any co-workers to buy one for that reason alone. Shave $70 off the price tag and make it 2” thick for 5 stars and another 10-15 purchased at my department.
In regards to sizing, I followed the instructions, and when worn tight for duty I’m on the tightest loop. When I take my outer belt off, I go out one loop.
No issues with Velcro adhesion on a DM Mech belt.

This is an honest review. At first I was not impressed due to it wasn’t super adhesive to my duty belt. However, after I continued to wear it more and more I became more impressed. I do not wear my duty belt loose, so I like a tight fit. The belt is secure without using belt keepers, so I would order again. I see the difference in comfort.

I’ve been waiting to write a review to see how the material holds up. Still early, about two weeks of duty wear. I work an inmate crew in the panhandle of Florida. My previous leather inner belt was hurting my hips and had my belt line wet from sweat before lunch. I’ve had the Ice Vents inner belt for just over two weeks now. I don’t sit in an air conditioned vehicle, I’m out hoofing it with the inmate crew, we walk multiple miles a day. The temps have been in the high 80’s with 90% humidity. This inner belt has definitely made my days better! Putting the belt through the belt loops is easier if it is put on before putting on my 5.11 Taclite pants. I ordered a 34” belt but wish I had got a 36” so I could use the belt over shirts with my personal battle belt at home. Wish These belts were around 18 years ago when I started! Hopefully this one will hold up my last few years!

I regularly attend USPSA competitions and this belt is such a game changer for those long competition days. I no longer come home with aching hips and once I strap my Qore belt and my outer competition belt on I don't notice it throughout the day. I'm a lifetime customer now!

So I gave 4 stars only because there isn’t a 4.5 option, i’ll start out by saying this inner belt is a good leap forward and I like what Qore performance is doing here, I own all of their ice vents. However, I believe this product still has room to be perfected. My main gripe is the weak Velcro adhesion. (Yes, I know about the extra ventilation reasoning.) however, you are running this in conjunction with an outer belt anyway so I don’t see how it would make any noticeable difference if they used stronger Velcro. I work around bodies of water so it is important for me to be able to run a belt system without keepers. Another gripe is The width of this belt at 2.25, I use vertex pants with 2 inch loops and I can kind of feel the belt scrunch up. I believe maybe 2.10 would be a better width the go with. The last main gripe I have is the little taps of excess material on connection points near the ends, they get caught on every single belt loop when you’re trying to put on and takeoff the Inner belt. Very annoying. A more experimental improvement I would like for them to try is maybe add a layer of Tigris inside the belt to make it stiff as it currently has no rigidity and requires a stiff outer belt to run this comfortably with any weight in my opinion.
Aside from that, with a rigid out belt, i’ll say it is the most comfortable Inner belt I have ever used, but don’t expect an immediate world of difference as this is just passive cooling, not active so if its like 100+ degrees out with no breeze, you’ll still be miserable. The main benefit I noticed is the comfort, I have no pressure points on my belt line anymore. So do I recommend it? If you wear a tactical belt often, yes. If not, probably not unless you love being gucci, which is still a valid reason to get it.
Last thing I’ll mention as many others talk about. The price sucks. They should at least offer free shipping with orders over 100 or something. Also, I had to pay shipping both ways to get a size swap since I didn’t get a proper fit the first time despite following their sizing instructions which is a bit annoying considering how expensive this is while many other companies have better customer service when it comes to those things. So hopefully you get it right the first time.
