IMPORTANT NOTE: All ICEVENTS® products use one of two footprints, ICEVENTS® Classic or ICEVENTS® Aero. The only difference is the backing (PowerMesh, hook backed, hook-receptive loop backed) and the size (all pads are full size except holster pads which are half size).

Some users might be able to wear ICEVENTS® Classic plate carrier shoulder pads with a t-shirt or other non-collared shirt depending on exact body type and setup preferences. We created ICEVENTS® Aero contoured plate carrier shoulder pads for use with t-shirts and other low-collar uniform tops and minimalist plate carriers. Very interesting design and concept at first I had my doubts so I figured I’d buy a set. Give it a shot. They take a lot of weight and fatigue off of your shoulders. Can’t wait to try them out in different weather conditions. See how they hold up vent, etc..

Could there ever be a comfort limit? Attaching these ICEVENTS to my plate carrier was the best thing that came together since peanut and chocolate. My training is comfortable. I am less hot than I ever have been, my vest now does not soak up the sweat, the hot spots are reduced, and did I mention the comfort? Seriously, everything has become 1000x times better, and I highly recommend these for anyone running a plate carrier—standing Armed watches, operating, or training with weighted plates.
Comfortable, functional, excellent. I recommend having a professional seamstress sew on the Velcro reception side inside the vest to hold the ICEVENTS. The shoulders are simple and easy to attach to any plate carrier. So look no further military/contractor/police. Buy these if you want true comfort. Well worth the money spent. I have a few extra and think this setup might be more supportive. I modified my sides portion to have one extra for each side of my cummerbund and an additional ICEVENT for my upper chest and upper trap portion. I found this setup to be a bit more comfortable than the original setup, as recommended with the original 6. 10 ICEVENTS gives you the full support/load bearing which I feel 20lbs and up carrying options is the most comfortable option or style.

Got these because I can’t stand sweating and thought these would help create some relief. They provide increased cushion and airflow for both my plate carrier and battle belt. Very impressed with the product and how effectively they work.

Overall I really like the product is just I wish the shoulder pads were slimmer to reduce chafing.

Put in my S&S Plateframe Redux to replace the OEM padding. The Qore Performance pads really do lower the amount of perceived weight, and make for an excellent upgrade. Would highly recommend for anyone on the fence about these.

Purchased the six pack. The shoulder pads were excellent. Kept me cool. Kept me comfortable. Easy to install. The classic ice vents worked well, I just had problems with the adhesive strips staying in place. I had read the reviews going in and expected it to happen.

We were a bit perplexed in reading your review until we realized that we did not include the same notes on the adhesive application on the 6-pack pages that we feature on the IceVents Classic Ventilation Pontoon page. It reads as follows:
'***IMPORTANT NOTE: While the adhesive is sufficient for mild applications, like a day at the range, for more strenuous applications like infantry live fires, o-courses, and amphibious operations (OTB, MIO, VBSS) we strongly recommend having your uniform tailor or shoe cobbler professionally sew the Velcro loop strips to the inside of your plate carrier or soft armor vest. It's a good product except I ordered the IceVents Combo (10-Pack) in coyote. However it came in a mix of coyote and black. Not the end of the world but it would be nice if whoever packaged the product paid closer attention.

Our apologies for the confusion. This is completely our fault as we simply forgot to update the product photography for the 10-pack skus when we upgraded the IceVents Classic Ventilation Pontoons earlier this year to the all-new, permanently bonded Hook Velcro variant. When we did this upgrade, we moved all IceVents Classic Ventilation Pontoon skus to black (noted on the product page) since they are always covered by armor and are never visible.

I purchased IceVents combo pack for mounting to my tactical vest for law enforcement work in the Phoenix, AZ area. Prior to using Qore products, I had used a competitor’s product and was not satisfied as it would pull my shirt down when donning my vest rapidly on surveillance or otherwise in the field. The Qore products have lived up to their reputation and allowed air to flow through the space in between the vest and my body. It has reduced the amount of sweat-soaked shirts that would accumulate during operations. Very satisfied with the products!
Only complaint is the edges on the shoulder IceVents are sharp and scratch my neck. However, a little trimming fixed the issue.

I was skeptical seeing this product after trying others, but this duty belt/ outer vest shoulder-strap cooling material really works well. And it is very comfortable! It installs easily and stays on, unlike many other products I've tried that are garbage. This is a must for anyone wearing an outer vest and makes a huge difference for both the duty belt and vest carrier.
