This configuration puts IMS Pro on the inside of your rear plate bag to deliver conductive cooling/heating/hydration in a sleek, flat, and ultra-maneuverable form factor. The front plate bag is lined with ICEVENTS® Classic Ventilation Pontoons to keep your base layer dry and comfortable for the duration of your mission.
Ideal for fall/spring and generally arid climates, the second configuration we’re going to show is Assaulter Hot/Temperate Climates with Evaporative Ventilation/Cooling only. This configuration features front and rear plate bags lined with ICEVENTS® Classic Ventilation Pontoons to keep your base layer dry and comfortable for the duration of your mission. This configuration does not include IMS Pro Combo for plate carrier conductive cooling and heating with hydration.
Ideal for fall/spring and generally arid climates with a longer mission duration where hydration is required, the third configuration we’re showing is Assaulter Temperate Climates with Evaporative Ventilation/Cooling + Hydration. This configuration carries IMS Pro Combo plate carrier hydration on the outside of the rear plate bag to for low-profile, hard cell hydration only. The front and rear plate bags are lined with ICEVENTS® Classic Ventilation Pontoons, providing much needed armor stand-off and separation that allows air to flow where it is needed most, keeping your base layer dry and comfortable for the duration of your mission.
Recce Plate Carrier/Chest Rig Alternative | All Climates
Evaporative Ventilation with Hydration (conductive Cooling/Heating optional)
Ideal for high altitudes, tropical/jungle environments, or any other application where weight carries an outsized premium, or environments where front-only armor is desired,Recce All Climates with Hydration (Cooling/Heating optional) carries an ICEPLATE® Curve inside the rear plate bag (in-lieu of armor…think Chest Rig-type applications) for ultra low-profile hydration. The ICEPLATE EXO® plate bags are designed with skeletal architecture exposed corners for maximum drainage, and ventilation, but also to accommodate the Right Exit and Left Exit Ports of ICEPLATE® Curve when the plate bags are not used to carry armor. The ICEPLATE® can be carried with room temperature water, frozen, or filled with hot water depending on the environment. The front plate bag is carrying a Medium ESAPI armor plate (think back to the old school Blackhawk or Eagle Chest Rigs that had front armor capability) and lined with ICEVENTS® Classic Ventilation Pontoons to keep your base layer dry and comfortable for the duration of your mission.
CBRN/MOPP/HAZMAT + Crossfit/Tactical Competitions | All Climates
This setup has ICEPLATE EXO® carrying ICEPLATE® Curves in the front and rear plate bags for applications requiring the incredible cooling/heating power of IcePlate Curve, but do not require armor of any kind. Some examples of such an application are augmented thermoregulation in CBRN/MOPP/HAZMAT suits, physical fitness training, Crossfit, The Tactical Games, The Patriot Games and other types of high intensity interval training workouts. Each ICEPLATE® Curve can be customized to a specific weight to comply with the rules of various forms of competition ranging from the Crossfit Games to the Tactical Games and just about anything in between.

I bought these for a run and gun match. Always hated a camelback, and finding how to carry water so it doesnt flop is always a challenge. The wing sleeves are not compatible with a micro chest rig, they interfere with the straps too much so I was unable to use them. I also find the plastic piece comes out of the sleeve every time I pull them out. I am going to use them with my plate carrier, but they add some girth, I am going to need to buy a larger sized cumberbund before I can use them.
I purchased the Icevent for my Safariland UBL to help the discomfort that I occasionally get from the bottom of the UBL pressing into my leg. While I was excited to try the product for my holster, the Icevent came with zero instructions on how to properly install it. So I had to go on Youtube to watch the install video. After watching it, I installed the Icevent and I was extremely disappointed in the product. Not only did it not work for me but it actually increased my discomfort. Buyer beware this product is nothing more than cheap plastic with a fabric backing. Maybe it’ll work for some but it’s honestly not worth the price that you pay for it as the value is definitely not there. I could not make it through a single training session with this product and immediately removed it at the first chance I got.

Not gonna state more than necessary, but it simply works. It simply attaches, and holds. I haven’t seen it have too much play and wobble, personally. And even if it does, it’ll be a quick fix I’m sure.
I have it mounted on a CATAMARAN Gen. 3, and it works fine.
Had little issues having it seat on my plate carrier whatsoever. And with the extra hardware they provide, I was able to have it comfortably sit on the back of my carrier, rather than the front.
And in my instance, it is also cross-compatible with different comfort padding from other companies.
