The body-facing loop field accepts IMS Pro Gen 3. Large plate bags require IMS Pro Gen 3 to secure Medium-profile ICEPLATE®. ICEPLATE® and IMS Pro are sold separately.

Laser-cut ventilation & drainage

Negative MAPS provide attachment points and ventilation openings. The bottom closure flap and open architecture allow drainage.

Flexible shoulder architecture

1.5-inch shoulder straps support compatible quick-release hardware using the included Shoulder Adapter. Quick-release hardware is sold separately.

Ice Plate EXO Gen 3

Awesome product, very light weight and well ventilated. I ordered the plate bag with the AXL cumberbund with tubes and set up was easy. I am 5'7", 205lb, lift weights, so the plate bag fits and covers my torso the way it is supposed to. Only wish i had the option to order the Large cumberbund. There is room to mount the IMS pro gen 3 on the back, inside but the large cumberbund would give me a little more play room. But that's small stuff. Other than that, AWESOME product and AWESOME customer service..

Light Weight and Exceptionally Durable

Best plate carrier I’ve used. Does what they say it will do and is extremely comfortable. Impressed me so much I bought a second one.

Wish it had a few features

Love the weight and feel of he carrier, however, the only way I know to adjust the with of the cummerbund is by removing the cord in the back and both cummerbund pieces then adjusting it that way which is very time consuming. I wish you can adjust it on the fly depending on how many layers you're wearing. Overall, great product. Assembling was a bit tedious, I didn't receive any instructions or labeling on each piece and there were a number of pieces in the kit that I did not need to use so it was hard to distinguish which was which. The video was helpful but I had to call the office a number of times. This company does have the best customer service I have ever delt with by far, and for this I will continue to do business with them.

Light AF

Not a long term review, but I am really liking the weight and fit of this carrier. The quality of material, attention to details, modularity is very welcome. I am looking forward to seeing how well the wet weight capabilities reduce fatigue. Time will tell how well it holds up. My only real concern is how the axl cummerbund attaches to the rear panel. May look into alternative ways to attach it to ease that concern. The rubbery pontoons that can be attached to the interior of the plate bags really lock you in and aid in load bearing with the surface of your back and chest instead of just through the shoulder straps.

The biggest innovation in plate carrier design since QD cumberbunds

You can run armor pates, ice plates, or both. I use it for the range, CrossFit, and on the job. Freeze the ice plates and, as they melt, you can drink them allowing you to stay hydrated without the need for a bladder taking up room in your assault pack. Easily the best tactical gear purchase I have ever made.

How do I choose Medium or Large?

Choose by the armor plate you will use, not clothing size. Medium and Large correspond to their ESAPI plate profiles. Confirm your plate’s actual dimensions, curvature and thickness; contact us if the fit is uncertain.

Does the carrier include armor or ICEPLATE®?

No. Armor plates, ICEPLATE® and IMS Pro are sold separately. The carrier alone does not provide ballistic protection. Review the included-components list above for your selected configuration.

Are the AXL cummerbund and quick releases included?

Side Straps and the Shoulder Adapter are included. The AXL Equinox Cummerbund and quick-release hardware are optional, separately purchased components.

Do I need CATAMARAN to mount IMS Pro?

ICEPLATE EXO® Gen 3 has an internal loop field for IMS Pro Gen 3, so a separate CATAMARAN adapter is not required for that attachment.

Are all colors and materials fire resistant?

No. The FR option applies to Berry Compliant Trelleborg Brigade variants, excluding HiVis. HiVis is non-FR.

Can ICEPLATE® replace armor?

ICEPLATE® is a hydration and thermoregulation reservoir. It does not replace ballistic armor. Configure protective equipment according to your specific requirements.
