Well for what it is its great, down side i have with it is i wish there was an option during purchase for LEFT OR RIGHT, I'm using it in a slick carrier for under a chest rig and i want the option to have a T junction for being able to connect to both front and back at the same time drinking out of both. with these Two things alone id be bumping up to a 5 star rating with no problems

The ridiculous hike in price makes this the last ice plate I will be purchasing. About $80 for a water bladder is not very affordable.

1. We've actually been able to DROP the price of ICEPLATE® Curve drinkable down to $75 from over $100 where it was in 2023 - still 100% Made in USA.
2. ICEPLATE® Curve itself is actually just $50. The Source90 Drink Tube is the other $25 and is completely optional. Our ICECAP is compatible with just about any drink tube on the market today for exactly this reason: user-choice. Details:

Good but can be better

Good product keeps me warm outdoors shooting also some what hydrated not enough water also the valve I belive on top of the product so you can get suction to the water will be lost extremely easy I lost it 3 times the only reason I knew was becaaue water was coming down my back I had to put tape to not lose it . Other thing would be the nickel and dime other then that it’s a good product

Great but...

Was beyond excited when the plates arrived, excellent build quality however they were much larger than I was expecting, they don't fit into my vests standard plate pockets so I'm slightly disappointed, nothing a modification or two cant fix, but just annoying.

Otherwise used them a few times already and happy to report in +45°C weather they last around 2-3hours (frozen) and +4hours with the water still ice cold.

Phoenix Summer is a lot less brutal

I searched the internet for a way to keep me from over heating while going on my Summer runs in Phoenix. I decided to order one plate to give it a test run, was not disappointed. I was not thrilled about the idea of running with my plate carrier on, but it seems no one cares and my health is of the utmost importance. I have since bought another plate to keep my even cooler. I've recommended these plates to my friends, as I believe in this product.

Solid Piece of Kit

Overall a solid piece of kit to have. Currently running it through its paces in a JPC for combat training in 115°F heat. My only complaint would be the hose connection. Have had multiple training exercises where the hose becomes disconnected from the 90° elbow that quick connects to the plate. This then empties all the water in the plate being that it's at the bottom. Fixed by zip tying the hose to elbow connector but a bit of an oversight for a product that costs $100+. Only reason I had to give it 4 instead of 5 stars.

You are 100% spot on that American-made products are unfathomably expensive in your country, Australia. However, those outrageous costs are well beyond our control. The reason for the high cost of our products (well, all US-made products) in your country is because of 1) Geography and 2) the taxes/duties imposed on imports by the Australian government. I love the idea

I love the idea but leaks with the cord and with the plug. Had to put tape around so it doesn’t leak. Works great have to replace the tape every week.

Awesome idea and design!

The rigid canteen that fits in a plate carrier is awesome and it works. The drink tube that came with it didn't work, but they replaced it quickly and for free with a tube that rocks. Their stuff is only compatible with a few things: none of my Blackhawk-Hydrastorm and only one of my Camelbacks. The straps are kinda useless: still figuring out how to mount the canteen to various rigs.
