WILL IT FIT , AND WHAT adapters do I need?
@Yunus – Our apologies for such a delayed response. Yes, IcePlate is compatible with your IOTV. IcePlate is the same size as a 10×12″ ESAPI plate and can be worn between your base layer and your plate carrier using our Armor Straps. Let us know if you have any additional questions!
They also fit inside the Condor LCS Vanquish plate carrier, with an AR500 IIIA plate. Which in addition to Patrol I use for conditioning training. The ice plate was a fantastic addition running in the afternoon heat of July in Texas!
Is it good match with current G.I. IOTV with level 4 plates inserted? I wear my IOTV every day on task force mission for hours and want to eliminate “weights” as much as possible.
Best invention to keep me cool… ever.
We were at an airsoft Milsim event – temps were in the mid 90s with high humidity. Of the 450 people who started, we lost 150 to heat exhaustion. 50 were within the first hour (2 by ambulance). I made it through the entire 2 day event and felt great. At one point I let a fellow player use it to maintain. He couldn’t thank me enough.
Love that box-o-ice on my back!!
