Performance under pressure.

The ICEVENTS® Holster Pad uses fusion-bonded honeycomb technology to eliminate pressure points caused by holster mounts like Safariland UBL, CUBL, and True North Concepts MHA. It also provides stand-off ventilation while remaining ultralight.

Fully optimized for Safariland UBL, Safariland CUBL, True North Concepts MHA, and Blue Force Gear Holster Adapter, the mount height and placement can be adjusted for use with or without leg straps.

If you are using a True North Concepts MHA, RHPP, Guardian Warrior Bang Hanger, or Blue Force Gear adapter, choose the ICEVENTS® Classic Holster Pad .

Safariland VUBL and QUBL: ICEVENTS® Aero Holster Pads can only be secured to the Safariland VUBL/QUBL via the included Adhesive-backed Hook Velcro Square. The Velcro OneWrap band is not compatible with the Safariland VUBL Adjustable Platform or the Safariland QUBL Universal Belt Loop because of the adjustment mechanism, leaving the adhesive-backed Hook Velcro as the only attachment method. Running the adhesive-backed Hook Velcro only, without the OneWrap band, works for some customers with lighter applications, but it is not something we recommend for full-use, hard duty applications.

Flawed Design

This is kinda useless I would avoid this. The padding is no where thick enough. Nor is it wide enough. It barely clears the edge of the baseplate and twists so that the edge of the baseplate still catches your pants . It would need to be triple the thickness and at least 1/2” wider around the edges. I have severe doubts that the gel padding isnt going to be completely compressed in a few months. Save yourself $30 and put a think piece of leather under your baseplate instead.

ICEVENTS® Holster Pads are intentionally thin and low-profile by design. They do not use gel or soft cushioning. Instead, they’re an engineered thermoplastic elastomer structural spacer that redistributes pressure, creates airflow, and manages heat without materially changing holster ride height, offset, or draw mechanics. Increasing thickness or width—as you suggested—would introduce tradeoffs many users want to avoid, including altered ergonomics, inconsistent indexing, and interference with movement or concealment.

ICEVENTS® are built to maintain their shape and performance under sustained compression over time (thousands of customers are still using thier original ICEVENTS® Classic and ICEVENTS® Insoles from 2018 and 2019 after daily duty use). That said, if someone is looking for bulk padding rather than pressure distribution and airflow, a different solution may better fit their needs.

Great stuff

Works great. no more leg pain from holster digging into thigh.

Not what I expected

I purchased the Icevent for my Safariland UBL to help the discomfort that I occasionally get from the bottom of the UBL pressing into my leg. While I was excited to try the product for my holster, the Icevent came with zero instructions on how to properly install it. So I had to go on Youtube to watch the install video. After watching it, I installed the Icevent and I was extremely disappointed in the product. Not only did it not work for me but it actually increased my discomfort. Buyer beware this product is nothing more than cheap plastic with a fabric backing. Maybe it’ll work for some but it’s honestly not worth the price that you pay for it as the value is definitely not there. I could not make it through a single training session with this product and immediately removed it at the first chance I got.
