Coming in packs of 2, 4 and 6, ICEVENTS® Classic Plate Carrier Ventilation Pontoons provide stand-off ventilation and padding against hard body armor inside your plate carrier, cummerbund, or under your soft body armor vest for your chest, back and sides. Stand-off ventilation inside your plate carrier or soft body armor vest promotes convective thermoregulation (a.k.a "evaporative cooling" - click here to learn more about the different methods of heat transfer) and eliminating plate bag or cummerbund hotspots. ICEVENTS® Classic Ventilation Pontoons are the ultimate plate backer.
Say goodbye to heavy, bulky, and crude legacy body armor ventilation made from insulating, absorbing foam and switch to wafer-thin, ultra light, and hydrophobic ICEVENTS®. ICEVENTS® connect directly to the inside of all body armor equipped with body-facing loop fields/pontoon strips like our ICEPLATE EXO® Gen 3 Ultralight Ventilated Plate Carrier. If your carrier is not equipped with internal loop Velcro pontoons like ICEPLATE EXO® Gen 3, we created our CATAMARAN Gen 3 Universal Body Armor Ventilation Adapter Panel. CATAMARAN Gen 3 provides a loop Velcro surface for mounting ICEVENTS® Classic Ventilation Pontoons to any plate carrier.

Crye Precision AVS Harness Pad Set
The all-new ICEVENTS® Classic Ventilated AVS Harness Pad Set is a set of
four or six upgraded ICEVENTS® Classic Ventilation Pontoons that
directly replace the six foam pads that come standard with every Crye
Precision AVS (Adaptive Vest System). The Crye Precision AVS has been in use
with USSOCOM since 2012, but despite significant advances in load-bering
technology since then, the AVS hasn't had any major updates. That ends now
with the ICEVENTS® Classic Ventilated AVS Harness Pad Set
upgrade.
Built on the venerable ICEVENTS® Classic plate carrier
ventilation pad platform using proprietary Stimulite® honeycomb technology,
ICEVENTS® Classic Ventilated AVS Harness Pad Sets provide
stand-off ventilation and padding under the Crye Precision AVS Harness to
dramatically improve air flow and long-term wear comfort. Stand-off
ventilation inside the Crye Precision AVS promotes evaporative cooling (click
here
to learn more about the different types of cooling/energy transmission) and
eliminates hotspots. The set of ICEVENTS® plate carrier
ventilation pads feature permanently bonded Velcro hook backing for
customizable placement of the ventilated pads inside the AVS Harness.
ICEVENTS® Classic Plate Carrier Ventilation Pontoons are designed for use
on your torso (front and/or back) or Velcro loop bearing cummerbunds (Crye
AVS, AXL Equinox, etc.). They are not intended for use as

ICEVENTS® Classic Plate Carrier Ventilation Pontoons are available in black and only sold in pairs. They are not available a la carte and are completely covered by your armor and your body...even if we made these in Coyote Brown, nobody would see your ninja-ness.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All ICEVENTS® products across all packages/bundles in the entire ICEVENTS® Collection, use one of two footprints, ICEVENTS® Classic or ICEVENTS® Aero. The only two differences other than footprint, are the backing (PowerMesh, hook backed, hook-receptive loop backed) and the size (all pads are full size except holster pads which are half size).
