What is the difference between IceVents® Aero and IceVents® Classic gun belt pads?
ICEVENTS® Aero High Mobility Ventilated Gun Belt Pads distribute the load evenly across your waist, eliminate hotspots, and make wearing a duty belt more comfortable. The unique honeycomb matrix disperses loads up to 5,000 pounds, removing pressure on your sciatic nerve and hips while providing unmatched omnidirectional stand-off ventilation. ICEVENTS® hydrophobic, anti-microbial construction is nearly indestructible - built to take the punishment of the most demanding user in the least forgiving environments.
ICEVENTS® Aero Ventilated Gun Belt Padding is compatible with any gun belt today, including two-belt systems like AWS Gear, Lead Devil USA, Blue Force Gear, Ronin Tactics, Blue Alpha Gear, etc. Depending on your preference, they can be mounted two ways: on the duty belt itself for "set it and forget it" convenience, or they are also thin and flexible enough to thread through belt loops and run under traditional inner belts. ICEVENTS® have integrated slits for lacing Keepers from your existing duty belt setup.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All ICEVENTS® Classic products use the same footprint. All ICEVENTS® Aero products use the same footprint. The only difference is the backing (PowerMesh, hook backed, hook-receptive loop backed) and the size (all pads are full size except holster pads which are half size).

Loads are absorbed and dispersed evenly throughout the honeycomb matrix of ICEVENTS®. Because the cells are interconnected, when one cell buckles from impact, the walls of the adjacent cells also buckle to absorb the force, similar to a ripple effect. While easy to insert to the gun belt, the pads didn't provide the level of comfort expected. The quality of the material is still superior, but the actual comfort level I was hoping for just wasn't attained. Still a great effective product for shoulder pads, where bone prominence is protected by the pads.

This product has been nothing but the exact thing i needed for my duty belt setup. As a military police officer the constant hip and back pain had been relentless and this product has made it almost unnoticeable while wearing my belt.

Used these to distribute the weight for my m110a1 ammo.

I work in Security. I had a HSGI Duty Belt Liner for years. It did the job but on a hot and muggy Southern day it was still pretty uncomfortable. With the IceVents that hot spot sucks way less. I didn't think it would make that much of a difference. But these weigh less and the ventilation is something I didn't know I was missing. Also, the ability to use hook n' loop or keepers for the install make adjustments or changing gear a breeze.

Oh my! Being a female police officer with a smaller waist, my back and hips were hurting me, especially with all of the extra equipment on my duty belt. I purchased the Aero 3 pack and holster pad. The holster pad prevents the holster from rubbing on your hip all day. I split the 3 pack to be used on my duty belt and plate carrier. Used in both applications, the Ice Vent products lighten the load and make all day duty use significantly more comfortable.

My experiences in EMS, military training, police training, tactical training classes, and hiking and backpacking have taught me the importance of taking care of yourself during these physically demanding activities, especially by obtaining the proper equipment for doing so. Keeping cool during strenuous activities and proper weight distribution of equipment are key elements to watching out for yourself, yet are often overlooked by many who are distracted by the glamour of the flashy tactical equipment, like guns and ammunition. Heat emergencies and/or hurting your back have taken many of my partners in training and work out for good when they could have had a much longer time fulfilling their dreams or being of service to others.
While I have never used a product equivalent to these Ice Vents Aero pack for my gear belt in the past, I have obtained and used or jerry-rigged such equipment geared toward cooling the core and weight distribution for many years. Thus, when I saw this product pack, I knew I needed to get it just as much as I needed to get a good holster and magazine carriers. I've used this product on my belt during my time at the Urban Rifle course at Thunder Ranch (February 2021), and it was instrumental in keeping my hips cool and comfortable through all the training evolutions during that course.
This is the first of many products I intend to purchase from Qore Performance!

I’ve only had the ice vents aero for about a month and I already feel a huge difference in comfort and stability in my belt and holster. I’m a k9 handler and stay active throughout my shift and the ice vents have eliminated any hot spots or rubbing

Great product. Quickly dispatched. Very easy to attach to belt kits. Been wearing a variety of belt kits since 2010 and so far the IceVents Aero belt pads have been the best for comfort and relief from back pain and hot spots on the hips. Would recommend for anyone in the military and law enforcement.
