Die monolithischen Chassis-Gurte sind ergonomisch für eine Vielzahl athletischer Körpertypen optimiert und eignen sich sowohl für den Trail als auch für die Stadt, die Baustelle oder den Drive Thru. I have purchased a total of 4 of these regen backpacks and they are in amazing shape at an amazing price!!! I like these better than the new style of backpack. In total I have purchased 4 older style hydration backpacks(new), 2 of the ones with plates on front and back, also new, 1 newer model hydration backpack (new) and 4 of the regen backpacks. You cannot beat the deal on the regen ones!!!

I've had the IMS Sport for 9 months now, using it almost every weekend for distance longboarding. The Sport keeps me cool and hydrated even while moving at 30 deg C and 80-90% humidity and is my choice pick every time. The light, breathable straps and open front work very well in a tropical climate where every bit of airflow is critical. The sleeve and ice plate curve ride high on my back which allows me to wear a separate hip pack for other gear. The entire setup is quick to hand wash and hang dry. This is a product I love each time I use it.
A few suggestions for future versions:
1) I'm on the small side and once the ladder locks are adjusted to my size, the sternum adjustment loops ride high up to my shoulders, so only the lower loops are useable. I wish there were more adjustment loops down to the ladder locks to clip lights or other gear.
2) The yoke pocket and any pouches on the rear are just too difficult to access. I used them twice and gave up. It would be great if the IMS Sport had some carry ability in the front, like compatibility with the molle placard or some kind of chest rig.
3) On hot days and long skates, I wish I could carry two ice plate curves for better cooling. The ICE Plate EXO-SLK looked promising but just not breathable enough in the tropics. Perhaps a future Sport-Extended version?
4) If that happens, then a way to carry the pontoons would be appreciated. Pontoons off when starting out and the ice plates are cold, then pontoons on for airflow once the ice plates are at ambient temperature.

I love this system. It keeps me cool in 100+ degree heat we deal with in Texas. I can get my work done outside without being drained. It's light and easy to maneuver in. Love it!!!

I recently got the I MS sport. I work in a receiving department for a big home-improvement store, and a lot of my day involves lifting, squatting, pushing, pulling, and continuously on and off different power equipment, the IMS sport works for all of those activities. including the ability for me to still wear a safety harness while operating some of the equipment. It has been a game changer. Instead of me trying to find my water bottle every time I set it down It helps me be more productive and cool while doing my job.
There are a couple of slight modifications to consider. Nothing magor and easy enough to do but I think they give it just the little edge that I want and still allow for me to do something different later if things change.
I have a right hand plate and routed the hose to the left to eat up some of the excess hose. I ran it the normal way up the right side then passed it through the holes at the top of the bag running it to the left. I then cut a hole in the mesh of the shoulder strap, and used a lighter to singe the frayed ends to stop it from separating more. Then ran the hose up through the hole to have it come out on the top of the left shoulder. This allows for less hose dangling down in front of me, but can still get it to my mouth. Overall, This system is definitely an excellent solution to “stay frosty”.

It works well to keep you cooler. I opted not to get the pontoons because I didn't want anything more than the plate sleeve and shirt to be between my back and the ice plate. However, the hook velcro of the back of the sleeve that accepts the pontoons will score the back of your shirt from abrasion when pontoons aren't being used. These ought to ship with double-sided loop velcro that's attached to where the pontoons would go for users who are not using the pontoons.
Also, for me personally, the sternum strap is not up to the task because it's just a short length of shock cord with the tiniest buckles that's difficult to release. None of these issues impede the core functionality of the product, and I've fixed these problems using what I have laying around. Looking forward to improvements to the concept in the next iteration.

Been using this product for over a month and living and working outdoors in 110+ degree weather I can take comfort in knowing my core temperature is still in the green and as the ice melts I am able to have chilled water while on breaks. This product has made my work environment more tolerable and is an invaluable item for your safety in high heat environments.

Absolutely a mission/performance enhancer. This allows you to rev higher in hot weather and stay cooler without red lining and cooking your core temp.

My first ice plate product. I used it to go to outdoor events and also washing my car at night when it is hot outside in the summer. I did get another Helix bite valve instead of the Storm valve that it came with. I also got a hydration tube magnetic clip also from Source Tactical. I did have to take a few tries to figure out where to put the chest strap height wise as I do have muscular pecs and needed a compromise of where the strap isn’t choking my neck , but it’s not squeezing the shoulder straps on my man boobs. It’s a strange feeling because ice plate and bag doesn’t feel Cold to the body, but I know I am not sweating in the heat. So somehow it is working. Only thing is if they also can sell the chest straps separately as an accessory because I think unclipping and clipping them over time might break the clips eventually. I also got it with the classic ventilation pontoons, I didn’t think it felt all that comfortable with it (felt rough) even when wearing a shirt on the body. I’ll save the pontoons for when I get the plate carrier

Flying small planes in the summer is essentially voluntarily strapping yourself into a fast moving oven with the added benefit of the sun beating down on you. A/C is usually too heavy or expensive for most small planes and alternatives are very few. The IMS sport is the perfect low profile cooling solution. Even with 98° +80% FL humidity the Ice Plate keeps you comfortable. The contour of the plate makes it comfortable to wear even on long flight and gives me more water than I can reasonably carry in a water bottle. Even in my unusual use case it works perfectly.
