Powerful Cooling for Professional Working Dogs
ICEFLASK® K9 Holster adapts proven ICEFLASK® thermoregulation technology into a purpose-built post-mission recovery system for working dogs.
Using two ICEFLASK® reservoirs filled with water and frozen, the system delivers 46W of cooling or 34W of heating directly to the dog’s body during recovery.
With a combined capacity of 33.8 oz / 1000 ml, the system provides immediate thermoregulation. Once thawed, the same water can be used for hydration.
Developed in collaboration with a U.S. federal agency, the ICEFLASK® K9 Holster is designed strictly for post-mission cooling and is not worn during active operations.
It mounts to the Aluminum Defender Harness with ID Panels using existing loop fields and a secure strap system.
Frozen ICEFLASK® canteens act as a heat sink, reducing heat stress and shortening recovery time.
Clean ICEFLASK® like any standard canteen: hot water, dish soap, or dishwasher safe.
ICEFLASK® packs are available for extended cooling during longer missions.

Important Notes
- ICEFLASK® K9 Holster is sold only with ICEFLASK® bottles. Vest not included.
- Wash thoroughly before first use (dishwasher or hot soapy water).
- Proper insertion is required. Incorrect installation may cause the insert to slip.
- ICEFLASK® bottles are final sale per our Return Policy .
- Cooling duration varies by environment (15–45 min cooling, 30–60 min heating).

What is ICEFLASK®?
ICEFLASK® is a revolutionary multi-purpose water bottle designed to deliver hydration, cooling, and heating capabilities in a single, compact package. Shaped like the PRC-152 military radio, ICEFLASK® holds 16.9 fl oz (500 ml) of water and provides up to 23 watts of cooling power when frozen or 17 watts of heating power when filled with hot water. Its curved design ensures comfort during wear, while its stackable shape makes it a versatile tool for use in coolers or for water storage.

18 Pack: Designed for those running dual ICEFLASK® Wing Holster combos, the 18 pack +2 provides a total of 20 ICEFLASKS®, delivering an impressive 338 fl oz (10 liters) of hydration or temperature control. Perfect for extended missions or larger coolers on recreational outings.
Versatility
ICEFLASK® integrates seamlessly with the ICEPLATE EXO® Gen 3 and mounts in seconds to any plate carrier with a Velcro loop field via the ICEFLASK® Wing Holster. Is ICEFLASK® K9 Holster, MOLLE & Wing Holster IR Compliant?
Yes, ICEFLASK® K9 Holster, ICEFLASK® MOLLE Holster and ICEFLASK® Wing Holster Sleeve is manufactured from Brookwood Squadron® B52 which is IR compliant. Details can be found on their website linked here.
How do I clean ICEFLASK®?
Clean ICEFLASK® as you would any other water bottle/canteen: hot water + dish soap and/or a dishwasher. Super easy. Nothing complicated.
Can I paint ICEFLASK®?
Absolutely! Rattlecan / spray paint is a great method to break up the shape of crucial equipment. Please note that most paint jobs will degrade over time due to the friction based ICEFLASK® Wing Holster, but this is true of any equipment that sees serious field use. We do not recommend painting ICEFLASKS® being used for cooler use. You can watch our video on painting equipment above in the video section of this page.
