IcePlate® is the world’s first freezable water bottle designed to cool you down, hydrate you, and protect you. It is designed to fit perfectly between your body and your kit.
What are some of the unique structural features of IcePlate® Curve?
Our latest IcePlate® technology, IcePlate® Curve, conforms precisely to the geometry of the Medium ESAPI armor plate. A single recessed port at the lowest point of the bottle, facilitates complete drainage and an effortless fill, each and every time. Proprietary TotalDrain Technology lets you finally drink all the water you are carrying, meaning no wasted weight. The Q-Hex Baffle System maintains IcePlate® Curve's structure during the freezing process, preserving the low-profile geometry, and decreasing audible sound in the field. IcePlate® Curve's first of its kind architecture provides the most comfortable cooling/heating/hydration system ever conceived.
How much does IcePlate® Curve weigh?
Empty, IcePlate® Curve weighs well under a pound at only 12 ounces per plate.
How durable is IcePlate®?
We have tested out our IcePlates® in all kinds of crazy situations and they stay strong. Check out this video of us dropping a frozen IcePlate® off a five story building:
We've also shot the IcePlate® behind soft body armor.

How much water does IcePlate® hold?
IcePlate® Curve and our legacy IcePlates® hold over 50 fluid ounces of water per plate, which is about 1.5 liters. Plus with the cooling benefit, you won't need nearly as much water to keep hydrated. Fill with warm water in the colder months to keep warm!
How do I fill IcePlate® when I first receive it? How do I freeze it?
Since water expands as it freezes, we recommend you fill the IcePlate® about 90% full with water, lie flat in a standard freezer, and leave it to charge for 4-6 hours (overnight works best).
How do I handle my IcePlate® when frozen?
Each IcePlate® Curve comes with a magnetic Freezer Cap for use when freezing. When IcePlate® comes out of the freezer, remove the freezer cap and replace with the IceCap (only necessary if you are planning to drink from your IcePlate®). Insert your tube of choice into the female port of IceCap and IcePlate® is ready for use.
Can I drink the water in my IcePlate®?
Yes! IcePlate® comes with a convenient drinking tube and Bite Valve that allows you to easily drink the ice cold water as it melts. Be sure to wash before use.
How do I use my IcePlate® in cold weather versus warm weather?
Hot Weather: Simply Fill IcePlate® with 50 fl oz of water (about 90% full), lay it flat or upside down in your freezer overnight, then wear it over your shirt but under your kit for the most powerful cooling solution on the market.
Cold Weather: Fill IcePlate® with warm water (we recommend 135-150 degrees Fahrenheit) water, then wear it over your shirt but under your kit for extended cold weather comfort.
How long does the cooling last?
Used fully frozen, IcePlate® will typically keep you cool for several hours and hydrated for a full 8-hour shift
Does IcePlate® condensate or "sweat"?
Yes, by design, condensation from the IcePlate® adds cool water to the outside layer of your shirt where it can evaporate easily, removing significant heat in the process to help you #StayFrosty® and dry. Many users have reported being totally dry at the end of a shift. We recommend pairing IcePlate® with moisture-wicking or hydrophobic base layers (like our TCCC Shirt) for maximum effectiveness.
How do I wear the IcePlate®?
The IcePlate® works equally well on your front or your back. If you are undecided on which, we recommend back placement for your first IcePlate®.

Soft Body Armor: With the myriad of Soft Armor form factors on the market, we recommend using our Velcro Armor Straps with soft armor for maximum ride height adjustability.
External Armor Carry: Designed for military and law enforcement, IcePlate® MOLLE Sleeve Flex is the external hard cell hydration solution for applications that require the lowest profile and greatest durability on the market today.
Industrial/Commercial: HiVis StayFrosty® Vest is the ultimate industrial safety solution using two IcePlates® (front and back) with cooling, heating, high visibility and improved productivity all in one IcePlate carrier.

Will the IcePlate interfere with my activity?
No, it is designed to sit close to your body and work seamlessly with your kit. It is made out of a flexible lightweight thermopolymer shell that is designed to absorb impact and help protect you. By carrying water close against your body, you use less energy to carry the water. Giving you more energy for your activity.
How do I clean my IcePlate®?
IcePlate® is dishwasher safe! We recommend cleaning before first use. Be sure to remove the cap. The low point drain also ensures that you can fully rinse and empty IcePlate® whenever a dishwasher isn't handy.
Do you Ship Internationally?
International Shipping is available for an additional fee; usually this runs about $20-40. Please contact info@qoreperformance.com for pricing.

Well for what it is its great, down side i have with it is i wish there was an option during purchase for LEFT OR RIGHT, I'm using it in a slick carrier for under a chest rig and i want the option to have a T junction for being able to connect to both front and back at the same time drinking out of both. with these Two things alone id be bumping up to a 5 star rating with no problems
We outfitted our warehouse staff with ice plates and it has been a solid tool to keep working in the summer heat and and humidity. Tennessee Heat is unforgiving this product is a game changer.
Great item, easy storage. The bottom is easy to drink from and has a steady flow rate with
No leaking. I run the bottle in the right rear wing of my carrier and it fills the space quite nicely.
Do my best to keep this short.
I’ve used multiple types of vest stand offs over the years. And sadly they all end up the same way, adding bulk and not adding enough ventilation.
But that changed with Qore. Doubt I’m remembered but first came across Qore from a training class a while back in NJ.
Started off with some of their other products but with the crazy heat and more importantly humidity I needed something more then the ventilation my issued carrier could handle.
The install was straight forward, i opted not to use the shoulder pads as that’s not really an area I needed more ventilation or padding.
But on back to back 90 degree days with high humidity, before it my shirt would be soaked and gross.
Now however, I can feel the heat and at worst some moisture but it never gets soaked. I’ll be pouring sweat but the ventilation pontoons are doing their job and letting it evaporate / keep me cool under my carrier.
It’s a lot of money but if you're spending all day in a carrier and you have to be in the heat. This is money well spent all day long. Don’t hesitate.
Great for long weighted walks/runs in the Miami heat, lasted around 2-3 hours but the cold water to drink helps immensely.
Can't wait to use it in the National Guard so I don't have to suffer from the humidity and sun, I'd recommend it to my peers so they too don't have to suffer and increase our sustainability.
More comfortable and durable than a Camelbak. But more annoying and inconvenient when empty.
I like the idea of this more than I actually like it. The closer this gets to being empty the more of a hindrance it becomes. Unless I have somewhere to ditch it once I drink all the water, I don’t take it with me. Works well for short term use, especially when it’s pressed against your back. This could just be a me thing, but my back only touches 2/3s of the plate unless I’m sitting down or have a backpack on top of it.
