ICESLEEVES deliver targeted thermoregulation—cooling or heating the body through its pulse points to enhance performance, preserve hydration, and maintain cognitive function in extreme environments. They also function as high-performance sun sleeves with a UPF 50 rating, providing a chemical-free alternative to sunscreen.
For cooling, ice cubes are placed in built-in pockets located over the brachial and ulnar/radial arterial complexes, commonly known as pulse points. As the ice melts, it provides conductive cooling by drawing heat from circulating blood. Simultaneously, the meltwater enables evaporative cooling, which is one of the most effective ways to lower core body temperature in hot, dry climates.
For heating, single-use hand warmers (sold separately) can be inserted into the same pockets. This draws on TCCC hypothermia treatment protocols, warming the body from the inside out by targeting arterial blood flow—without compromising mobility.
