To address the physics: ICEVENTS® are 90% air by volume. Placing a 3D honeycomb matrix between your body and dense, non-breathable armor creates a convective layer that is—by Newtonian standards—significantly cooler than the armor itself. If you found them 'warmer,' it typically suggests a configuration issue where the air channels are fully obstructed by something like the carrier's geometry or uniform, preventing the convective cooling they are engineered to provide.
