Best Ventilated Wheel Chair Padding? A Special Story from a Disabled Air Force Veteran

A few months ago, not even one year after we launched our class-leading ICEVENTS® Padding Technology, an Air Force Veteran customer reached out to us with a special request:

"Hey, so my Mom, who was medically retired from the Air Force, lives in a wheel chair due to injuries sustained on deployment. I love your ICEVENTS® and I use them on my issued plate carrier. I was wondering if you guys could make her a wheel chair pad made of your ICEVENTS®? If so, I'd be happy to buy it for her to bring her some relief! We've tried everything and none of the existing pads work."

We get requests for custom product designs all the time, but an ICEVENTS® wheel chair pad was a first, even for us. But we were incredibly humbled by the request, so we came up with a quick solution to get this customers disabled veteran mother some relief as quickly as possible: we linked 18 ICEVENTS® Classic Shoulder Pads together with the included OneWrap to fit the dimensions of our customers mother's wheel chair as closely as possible. We delivered this custom ICEVENTS® Classic Wheel Chair Pad to the customer just one day after receiving the request and we're happy to report that our customer's mom absolutely loved her new ICEVENTS® Wheel Chair Pad.
