Qore Performance® Relocates to Knoxville, TN

In our search for a new home, we prioritized three main criteria: freedom, people, location/environment. We considered a huge number of locations: Utah, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, New Mexico, Montana, Wyoming, Georgia, Florida, and other counties in Virginia.

Ultimately, we chose Knoxville, TN because of the unique combination of freedom, the quality of the people in East Tennessee, and the location/environment.

Freedom
There are two specific attributes of Tennessee that perhaps best represent the freedom of Tennessee: Constitutional Carry and the lack of a state income tax. Local regulations on building and zoning codes are another big benefit to Tennessee that were difficult to find elsewhere.

People
The people of East Tennessee are absolutely incredible. Friendly, hospitable and genuine, the people of East Tennessee are part of the magic of this part of the country. Northern Virginia is not an ideal part of the country for a vertically integrated manufacturing and e-commerce company like Qore Performance. The work force composition is a huge part of this calculus as it isn't a great fit for manufacturing in general, let alone high-tech and automated manufacturing. East Tennessee, however, is a little known high-tech manufacturing powerhouse and it enjoys this capability (which is now in extremely high demand thanks to re-shoring and near-shoring) thanks to the people of East Tennessee. This is America at it's finest. 

Location/Environment
Logistics wins wars and Knoxville/East Tennessee put us within an eight hour drive of 80% of the US Population. This will help us to quickly serve a greater number of our customers in shipping, training, and shows. Simultaneously, our new location is less than an hour away from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and a huge array of open, public land that is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and off-road aficionados alike. This is critical for us as we expand our SPORT (Snow Physical Fitness Outdoor Recreation Travel) line.

Stay tuned for more news on the HQ2 front as our current space is only temporary. We are working on the construction of a brand-new, purpose-built facility that will be absolutely state-of-the-art. It will be the home of Qore Performance for years to come and we can't wait to share it with you. It will be a home for all who seek to Build A Superhuman Future of their own.
