ICEVENTS® Ventilated Gun Belt Pads evenly distribute the load of your duty belt, eliminate hotspots, and dramatically improve comfort during extended wear. The proprietary honeycomb matrix disperses loads up to 5,000 pounds, removing pressure on your sciatic nerve and hips while providing omnidirectional stand-off ventilation to keep you cooler and drier in demanding conditions. Constructed from hydrophobic, anti-microbial thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), ICEVENTS® technology withstands extreme environments while maintaining durability and performance over time.

ICEVENTS® Gun Belt Pads are compatible with virtually any duty belt system, including two-belt setups from brands such as Dynamic Principles, AWS Gear, Lead Devil USA, Blue Force Gear, Ronin Tactics, and Blue Alpha Gear. Pads can mount directly to the duty belt for a “set it and forget it” setup, or thread through belt loops beneath traditional inner belts. Integrated slits allow easy use with standard duty belt keepers.

Sizing: ICEVENTS® Gun Belt Pads have an effective size range starting at a minimum of 30.75" waists (the total width of three ICEVENTS® Pads together) to a maximum recommended range of 38"-40" waists (depending on true vs vanity sizing). Waist sizes beyond 40" may not benefit from usage of ICEVENTS®.

Does the Job

I’m at a PD and don’t have my outer vest yet. I’m smaller stature and needed extra padding for all the weight on the hips from my duty belt. These work !

Minimal difference

I won’t say the pads do nothing. But for me it reduces discomfort by 20%. Kinda doesn’t justify the cost

A ~20% reduction in discomfort may sound modest on paper, but in the context of load-bearing equipment, that level of improvement is actually significant. Most belt padding solutions on the market offer comfort through bulk or softness alone and typically don’t deliver measurable improvements in pressure distribution, airflow, or thermal management.

ICEVENTS® is designed around pressure redistribution, convective airflow, and thermal relief, not just cushioning. Independent testing shows measurable gains in those areas, which is why many users view it as an injury-prevention and fatigue-management tool rather than a traditional “comfort pad.” Over time, even small reductions in pressure and heat buildup can have an outsized impact on back health, duty endurance, and recovery.

An honest review.

Purchased these in the hopes they’d help with the pressure points my duty belt rests on. I’ve had three back surgeries so getting a duty belt to not hurt is almost impossible. The pads seem to be a good product, just not the right product for me.

ICEVENTS® is designed to reduce pressure concentration, improve airflow, and manage heat, but it’s not intended to function as a medical or orthopedic device. In cases involving prior spinal surgery or chronic injury, even meaningful reductions in pressure may not be sufficient to fully resolve discomfort.

For the price I'd expect more...

Being that these were $181 and some change, $33 which was shipping (absolutely absurd).... I'm not impressed at all, they product manufacturing is quality but they do not do as described... Do your research, read the reviews before dropping your hard earned money...

Comfort and relief

Excellent product. I use these for inner belt use and they work wonders on hips and back. For me they relieve pressure and I can where my duty belt just about all day without pain or discomfort. Before I would get maybe 3-4 hour in before I needed to take it off for a long break. These helped alleviate that issue. Thanks for making these.

Okay

I have had the icevent on my duty belt for a few weeks now and I don’t like the classic cut and feel the other cut would go better under my inner duty belt for mobility for my gear as the Velcro keepers restrict when I can have my gear. I wear my duty belt for 12+ hours three days in a row and haven’t noticed to much additional padding. When I contacted customer service they advised I could send the one back and exchange the other which I Believe I would have to pay for shipping when I already paid $100. I would be curious if the other cut would better fit my needs but I am not willing to pay the shipping and have the wait while the exchange occurred .

Worth it

Female police officer here. I’ve been struggling, like so many others, with a lot of pain and discomfort on my hips when wearing my duty belt. I found this and saw positive reviews from other females and I can say it definitely lives up to the hype. I still feel a little something on my hips but it’s not painful or very uncomfortable. A true blessing. I feel as though I can move so much more easily around. It also helped relieve a lot of pain on my lower back. It also gave a very weird feeling of my belt feeling a little “weightless”, like my equipment got lighter. Very strange effect but I am absolutely here for it. My only qualm was that there wasn’t various sizes. I’m pretty darn skinny so had to cut one of the pieces in half to fit it to the belt. It definitely still works though! For the record, I’m 30 years old, and was looking for something to ensure a continued career in LE wouldn’t destroy my hips and back and it seems as though I found it. 10/10 recommend.
