Don Parker is a 25+ year veteran of the San Diego Sheriff’s Department, avid cyclist, Ski Patrol veteran and highly accomplished outdoorsman. While at SDSO, Don served with the Special Enforcement Detail (SWAT) and the last eight years as Search And Rescue Coordinator. As SAR Coordinator, Don has led numerous missions in harsh and austere environments including the Borrego Desert and Cleveland National Forest. Additionally, Don has led interagency teams in high profile cases such as Chelsea King and Amber Dubois. Don also has certifications as an EMT, SCUBA diver, Firearms Instructor, Critical Incident Manager, WMD, HazMat and Man Tracking. |
