ICEFLASK is a 16.9oz/500ml water bottle that also delivers 23 watts of conductive cooling or 17 watts of conductive heating to end-users by matching the dimensions of a PRC-152 MBITR radio, fitting seamlessly into NATO -152 radio pouches. Conceived by Felix of Redbeard Tactical (video below), it enhances warfighter performance and mounts to ICEPLATE EXO® Gen 3 or any plate carrier with Velcro loop fields using the ICEFLASK Wing Holster, or MOLLE surfaces via the ICEFLASK MOLLE Holster. ICEFLASK is also ideal for civilian activities like camping, hiking, over-landing, and tailgating, replacing disposable "sacrificial bags of ice" with a reusable, sustainable solution. This versatile tool provides personal cooling, heating, and hydration when worn, and serves as a stackable, durable cooling or heating block for coolers and insulated bags, excelling in both tactical and outdoor settings.
IMPORTANT NOTES/FAQ: The ICEFLASK Wing Holster fits a -152 size radio with some 550 cord modification (not recommended), but the ICEFLASK Wing Holster Insert only works with ICEFLASK.

ICEFLASK Wing Holster or ICEFLASK MOLLE Holster
ICEFLASK mounts seamlessly to plate carriers using the ICEFLASK Wing Holster. While optimized for ICEPLATE EXO® Gen 3, it is compatible with any plate carrier featuring a Velcro loop field. ICEFLASK can be mounted on the left or right of your front placard, either side of the rear plate where Velcro fields are available, or in a dangler configuration on the front or rear—though the dangler setup reduces thermoregulation effectiveness.
The ICEFLASK Wing Holster’s hard plastic insert can be flipped to adapt to your preferred mounting orientation, offering complete versatility.
Using ICEPLATE EXO® Gen 3's rear internal Velcro loop field allows for optimal use of rear negative space inside of the cummerbund via ICEFLASK Wing Holster. Fitting where a traditional canteen or water bottle could never hope to, ICEFLASK can be readily accessed with a loop pull string tied via the eyelet, drawn to hydrate and then returned into the flared 'magwell' of the ICEFLASK Wing Holster, as seen below:

Can I paint ICEFLASK?
Absolutely! Rattlecan / spray paint is a great method to break up the shape of crucial equipment. Please note that most paint jobs will degrade over time due to the friction based ICEFLASK Wing Holster, but this is true of any equipment that sees serious field use. We do not recommend painting ICEFLASKS being used for cooler use. You can watch our video on painting equipment above in the video section of this page.

UPDATE!!!
I don’t know what went wrong during the first time I have used the iceflask, I added an S&S pull tab to secure it more but the iceflask really don’t need it, it stays more secure in its position without the pull tab,
I’ve probably made some mistakes the first time but now I’m very happy about this product!!
I’ve recently use the Iceflask during an operation in which my unit approached the target with a 2 hours “trekking” in a very harsh environment, very difficult to stay on balance, and I had to invert the sense of in n out of the iceflask because I noticed that it repeatedly fell out while moving around (the iceflask was filled to the top), I think it still a great piece of gear but I would make its retention with a grippier material or anything to secure it more
During our development of ICEFLASK, we found there were circumstances (i.e. jumping, fast roping, etc./or similar as just two examples) where additional mechanical retention could be desired or even necessary. If you scroll to the section on the product page labeled “RETENTION' you will notice the instructions where we recommend exactly what you are suggesting (additional retention). We designed this mechanical retention augmentation option in to both ICEFLASK Wing Holsters and ICEFLASK MOLLE Holsters from the start. The mechanical retention augmentation is optional because it is overkill/not needed by most ICEFLASK customers most of the time. The size, angles and material of the bottle is amazing.
As well as Qore using standard threading so even if you loose your cap you can just use a Coke bottle is genius.
My only gripe, Is I wish they made a 32oz version to specifically go into a backpack as well.

Works great, easy to use. Only complaint is they're constantly running out of stock. Get them while you can.

Sturdy construction and sensible shaping make the iceflask a first class choice.
It fits radio pockets snuggly and stacks up,when frozen, to give You an ice block that can be drunk later. It makes good use of the space and unlike a normal ice block it's space is not wasted.

This is a great way to carry water with a chest rig or plate carrier. I'm using it on Trex Arms quad flap chest rig. It holds the flasks in their carriers perfectly in the dead space on either side of the mag pouches. On a side note the flasks do fit in the radio pouches that come on the inside of the chest rig. Though re-indexing them would be very hard.
