ICEPLATE® Gen 3 replaces discontinued ICEPLATE® Curve. Its Medium ESAPI-shaped, hard-cell design combines 52.4 fl oz (1.55 L) of water capacity with dual fill ports and an empty weight of 11.3 oz.

Cooling and heating durations are general ranges based on field data and feedback. Actual results vary with solar exposure, ambient temperature, nearby heat sources, humidity, user size, metabolism, and workload. Select a safe water temperature for your use and conditions, within the 150°F maximum.

Freeze for cooling, fill with hot water for heating, or carry drinking water for hydration. With the drinkable configuration, melting ice becomes cold water you can drink.
Lower weight. More water.
At 11.3 oz empty, ICEPLATE® Gen 3 is 20% lighter than ICEPLATE® Curve, with 5% more water capacity. Its curved geometry follows the body for a low-profile fit.
Two ports. More options.
Top and bottom fill ports share the 28-410 thread standard. Mix and match ICECAP Gen 3, Valve Cap, and Closed Cap across ICEPLATE® Gen 3 and ICEFLASK®.
Built around your setup.
Pair with IMS Pro Gen 3 and CATAMARAN Gen 3 for mounting to other plate carriers or vests. Choose ICEPLATE EXO® Gen 3 for an integrated system, or ICEPLATE® Backpack Gen 3 for sport and recreational use.
Quick-disconnect hydration.
ICECAP Gen 3 connects to Source 90 through a quick-disconnect interface. Source 90's male quick disconnect is cross-compatible with ICEPLATE® Curve and Source Hydration products. Check the drink-tube compatibility guide before combining components.
Simple cleaning and drainage.
ICEPLATE® Gen 3 is dishwasher safe and can also be washed by hand. TotalDrain geometry helps water drain completely. Follow the cleaning instructions before storing your system.

ICEPLATE® Gen 3 is not body armor. Do not use it inside a plate bag in place of ballistic armor.
