Love the weight and feel of he carrier, however, the only way I know to adjust the with of the cummerbund is by removing the cord in the back and both cummerbund pieces then adjusting it that way which is very time consuming. I wish you can adjust it on the fly depending on how many layers you're wearing. Overall, great product. Assembling was a bit tedious, I didn't receive any instructions or labeling on each piece and there were a number of pieces in the kit that I did not need to use so it was hard to distinguish which was which. The video was helpful but I had to call the office a number of times. This company does have the best customer service I have ever delt with by far, and for this I will continue to do business with them.

Not a long term review, but I am really liking the weight and fit of this carrier. The quality of material, attention to details, modularity is very welcome. I am looking forward to seeing how well the wet weight capabilities reduce fatigue. Time will tell how well it holds up. My only real concern is how the axl cummerbund attaches to the rear panel. May look into alternative ways to attach it to ease that concern. The rubbery pontoons that can be attached to the interior of the plate bags really lock you in and aid in load bearing with the surface of your back and chest instead of just through the shoulder straps.

You can run armor pates, ice plates, or both. I use it for the range, CrossFit, and on the job. Freeze the ice plates and, as they melt, you can drink them allowing you to stay hydrated without the need for a bladder taking up room in your assault pack. Easily the best tactical gear purchase I have ever made.

ICEPLATE EXO® Ultralight Minimalist Plate Carrier

My experience with the iceplate exo ultralight minimalist plate carrier so far I would say is an 8/10, functionality is great the carrier lives up to its name and truly is a minimalist plate carrier, temperature control, thus far has been great I look forward it the summer months and picking up an iceplate curve and testing that out as I normally run quite hot and having something to keep me cool while training is going to be a game changer. Really what came down to the 8/10 would be from putting the system together and when installing the fizzle sticks one broke on install so I just ended up just securing the elastic to the MOLLE which works fine just isn’t as pretty. Other than that one little hick up I have been very happy the rest of the set up was straight forward and easy. Great product Qore Performance.

Great but I think that in the upper part of the front panel it would take more soft system instead of velcro to be able to put the mount atak as in this system it is very low and almost impossible to use as in contact with loaders and then having a quick opening system for cummerbund Rather than the usual velcro that not the maximum at night as it is quite noisy.

Customer service was super helpful in responding to my request for assistance based on my needs. Shipping can be prohibitively costly to non-contiguous states, so I needed to get it right the first time. I got the system for my son who works in Army aviation in a hot environment. The gear is state of the art! Expect to pay for quality, innovation, and functional comfort, but I wanted the best for my son, and we got it. His issued gear is like Flintstonesian flak jacket junk compared to Qore’s minimalist engineered gear. He wears it at work mostly as a weighted vest for conditioning and also to habituate a level of everyday comfort should he ever be deployed. He also does runs and hikes with the system, trying various configurations with the IMS Pro hydration plates. They work and stay cold all day! He feels the Exo Plate carrier is a tad smallish as it only comes in one size. Maybe some sizing options will be considered in the future. Comprehensively meets all of my expectations. Only for those who want the best.
(The Ice Plates hydration cooling system will serve its purpose if he gets deployed to Maui. Looks to be hot and dusty in Lahaina…)

As an avid off-roader being able to optimize cargo is essential and having water on myself at all times helps clear space in compact areas. This system allows optimal cooling energy for at least 4 hours of summer Texas heat. That mean less stress on the body and more hours trailing down the desert. The team at QorePerformance have done it right by built a foundation of performance, one to which you can only built from.

This is probably one of the best carriers to buy on the market today. You get exactly what you pay for in a carrier that’s meant to protect you from rounds and heat catting. The Ice vents are ingenious and the ice plate itself is something that everyone needs to be using these days rather than a bulky hydration pack running on the back of your plate carrier. It’s crazy to me the amount of people that have not heard about QORE Performance yet and the quality of their equipment. But soon they will. This carrier is super light being that it’s a skeletonized plate carrier but the material used is super strong. I’m going to Africa on a deployment for a year and the Iceplate Exo is going to be my saving grace from the heat and any other dangers.
