ICEPLATE® INSIDE
The time has come for us to expand the IMS family and bring internal ICEPLATE® Curve mounting to every MOLLE equipped plate carrier on the market. In the past, this was accomplished at the behest of the Army with our Side Release Armor Straps to satisfy their requirement. Like most US Government inspired designs and by our standards, this was not an optimal or elegant solution, and they have subsequently been discontinued. All of that changes now with our all new IMS VERSA for plate carriers that lack the internal loop Velcro fields like you can find on our ICEPLATE EXO®, Crye Precision AVS, or Shaw Concepts ARC Carrier V2 to readily mount ICEPLATE Curve for internal, conductive cooling, heating, and hydration.
What is the difference between IMS, IMS Versa, and IMS Pro?
Our proven ICEPLATE® Curve has been a game changer for plate carrier users for some time now - eliminating heat injuries for tens of thousands of end users across public and private organizations, but not every setup could utilize our ICEPLATE® Sleeve systems. No matter your preference or mission requirements in a plate carrier, you can take advantage of the thermoregulation technology of ICEPLATE® Curve with our all new IMS VERSA.
The elegantly designed ladder of laser cut split bar mounts on either side of the sleeve gives the VERSA its namesake. Game changing versatility of adjustment makes mounting an ICEPLATE® Curve to any MOLLE equipped carrier as simple as choosing what height and placement works best for you and your setup. The benefits of ICEPLATE® Curve are now universal.
ICECAP Update 08AUG 2024: effective immediately, all ICEPLATE® Curve Drinkable and Standalone orders will ship with ICECAPS that do not have the gray shroud
on the white female QD shown in photography and videos. We are depleting our inventory of the current generation ICECAP to replace it with the all-new ICECAP Gen 3 in the coming months. As soon as ICECAP Gen 3 is released, all ICEPLATE® Curve Drinkable and Standalone customers will receive a code for a FREE ICECAP Gen 3 to replace their white Q/D parts.
This combo includes IMS VERSA, ICEPLATE® Curve and a Source 90 Drink Tube. If you're looking for just the IMS VERSA sleeve and Split Bar straps, that can be purchased by itself here.
Important note: IMS Versa is not optimized for ICEPLATE EXO® (even though it will work). ICEPLATE EXO® owners should purchase IMS Pro Combo.

Is the IMS VERSA better than the IMS Pro?
While the IMS VERSA has brought many more Plate Carriers up to speed with integrating ICEPLATE® Curve, the IMS Pro is still what we consider the optimal hydration and thermoregulation solution. If your setup is compatible with IMS Pro, we would advise to utilize that product for superior thermal conduction.
Can this mount to my slick Plate Carrier?
Unless your carrier has MOLLE, the IMS family (ICEPLATE® MOLLE Sleeve) likely won't be the solution you're looking for. Instead, we would recommend adding Velcro to the inside of your carrier's rear plate bag and utilizing the IMS Pro. You can also follow a customer's solution for their Ferro Concepts Slickster here.
Is IMS VERSA compatible with Zip On Panels from Crye Precision or Spiritus Systems? How about Velocity Systems SCARAB Back Panels?

Color Combinations
Each IMS VERSA Combo comes in a set color pairing to match your plate carrier. IMS VERSA Combos are pre-packaged by our team ahead of time for maximum efficiency (which facilitates package savings), so color combinations cannot be changed. However, an additional ICEPLATE® Curve Standalone in a different color can be added by clicking here.
