Key Features

Year Round Cooling and Warming Fill and freeze IcePlate® Curve for an unparalleled 70 Watts of Cooling Power per plate, keeping your core body temperature where you want it for hours. As the ice melts, you will have ice cold water to drink. Fill with hot water and enjoy 52 watts of conductive heating power.
Multi-Curve Geometry Conforms precisely to the geometry of the Medium ESAPI armor plate. This first of its kind architecture provides the most comfortable cooling/heating/hydration system ever conceived.
Easy to Fill + Maximized Water Use A single recessed port at the lowest point of the bottle facilitates complete drainage and an effortless fill, each and every time. Proprietary TotalDrain Technology lets you finally drink all the water you are carrying, meaning no wasted weight.
Q-Hex Baffle System Maintains IcePlate® Curve's structure during the freezing process, preserving low-profile geometry, and decreasing audible signature in the field.
IceCap IceCap QD Water Bottle Adapter allows IcePlate® Curve to be stored with or without a hose for maximum storage efficiency. Universal Quick Disconnect interface integrates seamlessly with most military and civilian drink tubes (Source, Camelbak), allowing IcePlate® Curve to go from freezer to field in seconds. Click here for Drink Tube Compatibility Chart. Instantly converts and Dasani water bottle into a backup, field-expedient hydration bladder.
Easy to Integrate Side Release Armor Straps ensure IcePlate® Curve fits with any plate carrier in the world between your combat shirt and plate carrier. For users who want to run IcePlate® Curve in their plate bag, the exact fit will depend on the specific plate carrier/armor combo.  Integrate with IcePlate EXO® for unparalleled performance.

Hydration Tube/Hose Compatibility Guide for IcePlate® Curve

Cleaning Instructions for IcePlate® Curve

Helping the good become great and the great become legends.

IcePlate® is the world's first turbocharger for the human body. Worn close to the body, IcePlate® Curve cools/warms you )70 watts cooling power, 52 watts heating power) while providing 50 fl oz (1.5 L) of hands-free hydration -- and unparalleled control over your environment. Engineered for elite users looking for every edge in the performance of their duties, IcePlate® Curve creates decisive competitive advantages where none previously existed. Anyone willing to settle for "good enough" should look elsewhere.

This package gives you two IcePlate® Curves, one in front and one in back - with both exit ports for hydration on the same side. With the quick-disconnect IceCap, this makes it extremely easy to swap the drink tube once you've consumed all the water in one IcePlate® Curve. This configuration gives you a total of 100oz (3 L) of water/140 watts of cooling power/104 watts of heating power..

The science behind IcePlate® Curve comes from more than two decades of research conducted by Stanford University, the US Army, USASOC, and the CDC on the effects of cooling on metabolic capacity, recovery, and heat injury prevention under PPE/MOPP and in athletics. Important Notes

* Coyote Brown and Foliage Drink Hoses come with Helix Bite Valves. Black comes with Storm Bite Valve. Source 90 Drink Tube and Armor Strap colors cannot be substituted. Additional colors are available separately here.

Note: Side Release Armor Straps can interfere with the One-Way Valve in rare circumstances. As such, they are ideal for light-duty applications like RSO, static security, etc. For hard-duty Military and Law Enforcement applications, we only recommend running IcePlate Curve with an IMS or IMS Pro.

Designed and manufactured in the USA from US materials. Fulfilled from our Sterling, VA HQ. Not subject to ITAR. US and International Patents Pending.

Coolest solution to summer workouts and yardwork

I bought a pair of IcePlate curves to use in my 5.11 plate carrier for a little added weight when filled with water not expecting to utterly enjoy the cooling benefits when frozen. Justin had warned me that I wouldn’t get the full benefits of the thermoregulation due to the internal pads of the carrier so i simply took em out with a seam ripper and man has it been a game changer running with the frozen IcePlates and working out in the yard in 95+ weather. https://i.imgur.com/BfRZKUv.jpg

Concept is great

The plates are nice and I like the idea but the mount falls drastically short. I have the agilite k19 and when I attached the core firstly it was way to thick with my 2 ceramic plates and 2 water tanks getting in a car or functioning was super sloppy but that’s understandable and I can over look it. But the Velcro attachment is super annoying it digs in to my back or neck as a result I end up pulling them off and running a regular Bladder. Some fabrics wrap or a different attachment method would be awesome I have considered tieing 550 cord but why? It has to be obvious that this a crappy attachment method, why wouldn’t it be addressed? A long flap that can be fed up to the molly on the outside of my Carrier seems like an easy idea but with a day Of thought I’m sure something could be brought to the table. It just seems like too much effort was applied to this system to let such a dumb thing hold it back. I may just be picky but if it were my brain child I can’t fathom shipping this out and throwing two 0.10 cent Velcro straps for attachment in the box for the customer and not feeling kinda guilty. I’ll definitely figure something nice out to mount them up some day.

Hi Ronald,
Thank you for taking the time to share an honest account of your experience with your IcePlate Curve Pair. While we are sorry to hear you have not had a great experience with your Side Release Armor Straps, the great news is that we have already addressed and solved all of your concerns! It sounds like we didn't do a good enough job of presenting those to you, and for this we apologize.

As for solutions...

On the IcePlate Curve Pair product page, we have a bolded section called 'Information Resources' just below the section 'Each Package Includes' where we provide hyperlinks to our Instructions page and an article titled 'How do I wear IcePlate?' This article walks you through every IcePlate mounting option in our line and covers every application from Military, Law Enforcement, and Safety Professionals to EDC Travel. Here is a link to that article:

https://www.qoreperformance.com/blogs/military-insights/how-do-i-wear-iceplate

Regarding your suggestion for a sleeve: problem solved. We already offer a variety of mounting sleeves with every combination of MOLLE (permanent and detachable), Velcro-brand Hook, and Velcro-brand Loop for universal mounting compatibility. Our IMS and IMS Pro are some of our best selling products and highly recommended for any professional-grade application:

https://www.qoreperformance.com/collections/molle-sleeves

Regarding wear profile, a two IcePlate Curve (front and back) setup is generally a configuration best suited for Safety, HAZMAT, CBRNE, Fitness or EOD type applications using one of our safety vests like IceVest HiVis Class 2 or IceVet Black. When wearing armor for infantry/patrol type applications, we recommend wearing a single IcePlate on the back. Here is a link to another article from our IceAge Insights blog that lays out all of the different ways/combinations available for IcePlate users:

https://www.qoreperformance.com/blogs/military-insights/iceplate-exo-ice-configurations

The article uses our IcePlate EXO (ICE) carrier as the example because it is designed from the ground-up with IcePlate Curve integration in mind, but you'll get the basic idea/concepts nonetheless.

We hope this helps, but please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any additional questions: Info [at] Qore Performance [dot] com. #StayFrosty and Merry Christmas!

Cool! Literally!

I just started playing airsoft and I sweat very easily. I replaced the foam boards in my plate carrier with the Qore Performance Ice Plates and they've helped me stay cool. And a huge bonus, as the ice melts, I have drinking water. I don't have to carry a separate water bottle strapped to my side. These are worth their weight in gold!
