Increased Load Bearing Capacity |

Ive tried other pads and these are by far the best. They wick moister, are light, and extremely comfy. Nothing else I could ask for.
I bought this mainly to cure a hot spot I found with the chest strap of the IMS sport. For some reason the knot where the chest strap is on the should straps has a hot spot on my pecs the way I have it set up. After putting these ice vent pads on, the feel of the IMS sport became incredible, and the padding covers the hot spot of the chest strap. In my opinion, this vent pad should be standard on IMS Sport
I was skeptical about these shoulder pads until I actually tried them out. I went for a run with my plate carrier and could feel the difference. No longer were the shoulder straps digging in to my skin, nor the weight of the plates a burden on my shoulders. This is definitely a must if you wear a plate carrier for extended periods of time.
I havnt used or had them long enough to give a real review but off of first impressions and a couple of range days, i decided i need them on my other carrier as well. They do breathe very well. Comfortable. Just expensive.
This was a night and day difference for me well worth the money. You won't be disappointed.
It was a perfect addition to my Kit! I am currently wearing it during field training and it is 100x more comfortable than without. If you are hesitant, please don’t. Your shoulders will thank you later.
These pads are incredible, such comfort and weight distribution. Totally worth the purchase.
Put these on my JPC 2 and wore it as well as my 50 pound ruck for 10 miles through steep terrain and multiple LDA’s. They have drastically increased the comfy factor of the plate carrier, if you don’t have these already I would heavily recommend you pick them.
I thought the sort of hard feeling of the backing wouldn't be pliable or great for cushioning. Man was I wrong. I have a covert-ish plate carrier, no pads as it's not meant to be loaded down. I put everything and the kitchen sink on mine, and as a result my shoulders hurt. Strapped on the IceVents (and some comms since the velcro attachments lets you cut to fit and allows cable routing) and the weight disappeared instantly. It really felt like I wasn't even wearing anything but my shirt. The pricing is a little steep but they are worth it in my opinion. Only pads I will bother getting, and I will be putting them on any and everything else I get.
The airflow when I did happen to get a light breeze was great also. That's probably it's main purpose considering the name, but the weight distribution was the effect I noticed most as it's not weather dependant.
After using the shoulder pads for about a week I really like them. They are attached to my gen2 USMC plate carrier and make it much more comfortable to wear for any period of time
